*Importance of future planning in Islam*
"Future means future time"
Planning for the future means that a person prepares for the coming time, uses the resources he has in a good way and tries to acquire more resources and means according to his power.
In the Qur'an and Sunnah, we are instructed to prepare for the life after death, and we are also taught to prepare for the days to come in the life of this world.
For the need of the future, Allah Ta'ala has ordered us not to waste the resources and blessings we have. It is not against trust to try and collect resources now to avoid any kind of pain and trouble in the future. Allah Ta'ala has ordered in the Quran that Muslims should accumulate resources to fight their enemies.
ALLAH says:-
"And Muslims, prepare to fight these infidels as much as you can."
In the Qur'an, the life conditions of Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him) have been described in detail. It also mentions that Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him) made a wonderful plan to protect the people of Egypt from famine, even during the famine in Egypt. It was not only self-sufficient in its own food needs but was also supplying grain to other countries.
Planning and planning for the future is a blessed Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He forbade the wastage of water and ordered to plant as many trees as possible to benefit from these bounties in time to come.
Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) always planned for the strength of the Islamic call and the welfare of Muslims. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made a plan to protect the people of Medina. On this occasion, he dug this trench on the advice of Hazrat Salman Farsi (R.A) and thus the people of Medina were protected from the attack of the polytheists of Makkah.
A clear example of the Prophet's future planning is the Hudaybiyyah peace treaty. But on this occasion, Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was planning the coming time. Allah Almighty blessed his plan with such a blessing that this peace agreement proved to be a precursor to the conquest of Makkah and after some time the polytheists were defeated. Makkah's power was shattered.
Every Muslim should prepare himself for the coming time according to the command of Allah and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). Allah does not like those who sit on their hands and waste their resources.
Allah says in QURAN:
"Indeed, Allah does not like those who spend unnecessarily."
Allah loves those who use their strength and intellect and think about their own benefit and that of others.
While planning any future work, we should keep in mind the limits set by the Shari'ah. The right to damages and materialism should not be included while planning and planning for the future, trust should also be kept in mind.
When a nation or a person makes decisions with planning and understanding, there are many positive effects on the life of that person and the nation, some of which are:-
1.A lot of resources are saved from being wasted.
2. prosperity and poverty are blessed.
3.one does not have to extend one's hand to others.
4. Resources increase and the entire society develops.
5.Better planners get better results.
6. Society is saved from chaos and chaos.
7. Forward-looking people tend to be moderate in their individual and collective relationships so that they do not face embarrassment or loss. This is also the teaching of Islam.
Today is the age of wisdom and planning. Individuals and nations are investing a lot in planning for the future today and planning for many years. We also need to plan for the future on an individual and collective level. In this case we can develop and our society can become a prosperous society.
