"Hajj"
Hajj is an important member of Islam which is a once-in-a-lifetime obligation on every Muslim who can afford it.
Allah said:
And for the sake of Allah, it is obligatory upon the people to perform Hajj to this house of Bait Allah, whoever is able to go to it.
Haji is a comprehensive worship in the sense that it is spiritual, physical and financial worship at the same time and this feature is not available to any other worship.
" Rituals of Hajj"
The rites of Hajj include putting on Ihram, going to Mina, waqf Arafat, staying at Muzdalifah, stoning the Jamrat, offering sacrifices, circumambulation, circumambulation, and performing Sa'i.
"Virtues of Hajj and Umrah"
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed one Hajj and four Umrahs.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Performing another Umrah after one Umrah is an atonement for the sins between the two Umrahs, and Hajj Mabarur means that the reward of the popular Hajj is nothing but Paradise.
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) declared three people as guests of Allah:
The one who fights in the way of Allah, the one who performs Hajj and the one who performs Umrah is the guest of Allah. When Allah called them, they attended, and when they asked Allah, He granted them.
" A short way to perform Hajj"
A person who performs Hajj should get up on Dhu al-Hijjah after morning prayer, put on Ihram, pray two rakats and supplicate: O Allah, I intend to perform Hajj, so make it easy for me and accept it.
Say the following words of Talbiyah aloud"
I am present O Allah! I am present, I am present, You have no partner, You are the praises, the blessings and the king, You have no partner in them.
After the Fajr prayer, he should leave Makkah for Mina and perform the Zuhr prayer on reaching there, and on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah, after the Fajr prayer, he should leave Mina for Arafat and stay in Arafat till Maghrib and pray. After sunset, it is recommended to leave Arafat plain and walk to Muzdalifah. After praying Maghrib and Isha together in Muzdalifah, spent the night in Muzdalifah. After picking pebbles for rummy and offering morning prayers, proceed to Mani.
When there is good light, he should perform the rites of Al-Aqaba and after the rites, he should shave his head or cut his hair, and after shaving his head, he is freed from the restrictions of Ihram, then go to Makkah on one of the days of the sacrifice. Perform Tawaf and visit the Waqf of Arafat and after performing Tawaf the duties of Hajj are fulfilled. Waqf of Arafat is the main part of Hajj. He should travel to and stay there or try to pray 40 prayers in the Masjid of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) during his stay of nine days.
" Sacrifice"
Qurbani refers to the slaughtering of a specific animal on the days of Eid-ul-Adha in order to attain nearness to Allah Ta'ala according to the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his forefather Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him).
On the day of Eid, there is no act more virtuous than sacrifice, that is why this day is considered the best day of the year.
There is a strict promise not to sacrifice.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
A person who has a large amount of sacrifice and does not offer sacrifice should not come near our place of Eid.
Qurbani cannot be sacrificed before the Eid prayer. It is preferable to sacrifice with one's own hands. If one cannot slaughter the animal himself, another Muslim can slaughter the animal instead, but permission is necessary.
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also offered sacrifices on behalf of his pure wives.
Seven people can participate in a cow and a maximum of 10 people can participate in a collective sacrifice, but no minimum number is specified. Two or three people can also share the meat equally.
The philosophy of Qurbani is to sacrifice one's desires to attain the pleasure of Allah and to make a pledge that we will not hesitate even if we have to sacrifice our lives for the sake of it.
Hajj and sacrifice are manifestations of the unity and unity of the Islamic nation. When the pilgrims gather for Hajj, their clothes, actions, and even their language, the same words are issued. They circumambulate around the same Kaaba on the occasion of Hajj, fights and riots are strictly prohibited, which creates feelings of compassion for each other.
When a Haji travels to Makkah to perform Hajj, he not only performs the great duty of Hajj, but also gets to visit the Haram Sharifs, i.e. Haram Makkah and Haram Madani. And clinging to it, he prays to Allah Almighty, gets the honor of visiting the Prophet's Mosque (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and offers blessings and greetings to the grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
Pilgrims have the opportunity to visit many places in Makkah, Madinah Munawwarah and Taif, which are closely related to Seerat Tayyaba, as if this journey of Hajj is not only a journey to perform Hajj rituals, but also to visit many Islamic places. There is also travel which increases one's spirituality and Islamic knowledge.
